Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Smastar ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These terms cover both the iOS and the Android version. Everything below applies to both unless a paragraph is explicitly marked iOS or Android.
Service description
Smastar is a morning companion alarm app. It schedules alarms, and after the alarm tone it reads out the time, the weather, your upcoming events, and the intentions you set, using your device's speech synthesis. It also plays music you import for focus and sleep, and shows your to-dos and calendar.
iOS: alarms are scheduled via AlarmKit. The iOS version additionally includes habit tracking and health data display.
Android: alarms are scheduled via AlarmManager. The Android version does not include habit tracking or health data display.
The App is designed for general wellness purposes only.
Subscriptions and billing
Smastar Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual). On neither platform do we receive or store your payment information.
iOS: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Prices are set by Apple and may vary by region. For details, see Apple's terms at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/.
Android: payment is processed by Google through Google Play Billing and charged to your Google Play account. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel it at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; the App's Settings → "Manage subscription" opens the same page. Prices may vary by region. For details, see the Google Play terms at https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/.
Free trial
If eligible, you may receive a free trial. Availability and length are set per store and may vary by region. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
Not medical advice
Smastar is not a medical device. Information displayed in the App is for general informational and wellness purposes only, and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. This includes the health-related information shown in the iOS version — heart rate zones, body composition, and sleep data. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions.
Data and privacy
Your data stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal data. For details, see our Privacy Policy at https://smastar.app/privacy.
Intellectual property
Smastar, its design, code, and content are the property of Endots LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws. You may not use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the App or interfere with other users.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Endots LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alarms will fire under all device conditions.
iOS: alarm delivery depends on system-level constraints including iOS settings, battery state, and device configuration.
Android: whether an alarm actually rings depends heavily on your device's own settings, and some of those are outside the App's control. In particular:
- Battery optimization and manufacturer-specific background restrictions. If the system or your device manufacturer's power-saving feature terminates the App's process, the alarm will not ring. This is controlled by the operating system and the device manufacturer and cannot be worked around by the App. During first-run setup the App offers to exempt itself from battery optimization; whether that exemption is available, and how the device behaves afterwards, varies by manufacturer and model.
- Permissions you can turn off. Disabling notifications, or full-screen intent ("display over other apps" / full-screen notifications), can prevent the alarm screen from appearing. On some Android versions the exact-alarm permission ("Alarms & reminders") can also be revoked, in which case alarms may be delayed or may not fire.
- Do Not Disturb, volume, and audio routing set by the device may affect whether you hear the alarm.
Do not rely on the App as your only alarm when missing a wake-up would have serious consequences.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Endots LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to missed alarms, oversleeping, or reliance on health information displayed in the App.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

本規約は iOS版と Android版の両方に適用されます。以下、iOS版 / Android版 と明記した箇所以外は、両方に共通の内容です。
サービスの説明
Smastar は朝のコンパニオンアラームアプリです。指定した時刻にアラームを鳴らし、アラームトーンの後に、時刻・天気・今日の予定・あなたが設定した目標を端末内蔵の音声合成で読み上げます。集中・睡眠のために取り込んだ音楽の再生、ToDo とカレンダーの表示も含みます。
iOS版: アラームのスケジュールに AlarmKit を使用します。加えて、習慣トラッキングと健康データ表示を含みます。
Android版: アラームのスケジュールに AlarmManager を使用します。習慣トラッキングと健康データ表示は含みません。
本アプリは一般的なウェルネスのみを目的として設計されています。
サブスクリプションと課金
Smastar Pro は、自動更新サブスクリプション（月額または年額）として提供されます。いずれのプラットフォームでも、当社はあなたの決済情報を受領・保存しません。
iOS版: 購入確認時に Apple ID アカウントに課金されます。現在の期間終了の24時間前までに解約しない限り、サブスクリプションは自動的に更新されます。管理・解約は、設定 → Apple ID → サブスクリプション からいつでも行えます。価格は Apple が設定し、地域により異なる場合があります。詳細は Apple の規約（https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/）をご確認ください。
Android版: Google Play Billing を通じて Google が決済を処理し、Google Play アカウントに課金されます。解約するまでサブスクリプションは自動的に更新されます。管理・解約は Google Play →「お支払いと定期購入」→「定期購入」からいつでも行えます（アプリ内の設定 →「定期購入を管理」からも同じ画面を開けます）。価格は地域により異なる場合があります。詳細は Google Play の利用規約（https://play.google.com/intl/ja/about/play-terms/）をご確認ください。
無料体験
対象の方は無料体験をご利用いただけます。提供の有無と期間はストアおよび地域により異なります。体験終了前に解約しない場合、サブスクリプションが自動的に開始され、所定のサブスクリプション料金が課金されます。
医療上の助言ではありません
Smastar は医療機器ではありません。アプリ内に表示される情報は、一般的な情報提供およびウェルネスのみを目的としたものであり、医療上の助言・診断・治療を構成するものではありません。iOS版に表示される健康関連情報（心拍ゾーン、体組成、睡眠データ）も同様です。健康に関する判断を行う前に、有資格の医療専門家にご相談ください。
データとプライバシー
あなたのデータは端末内にとどまります。当社はあなたの個人データを収集・送信せず、アクセスもしません。詳細は https://smastar.app/privacy のプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください。
知的財産
Smastar のデザイン、コード、コンテンツは Endots LLC の財産です。本アプリのいかなる部分も、複製、改変、配布、リバースエンジニアリングすることはできません。
適正利用
本アプリは本来の目的に沿って、適用される法令を遵守して使用することに同意するものとします。本アプリの機能を損ない、無効化し、他のユーザーの利用を妨げるような使用は禁止されます。
保証の免責
本アプリは「現状のまま」提供され、明示・黙示を問わず、いかなる種類の保証もありません。Endots LLC は、本アプリが中断なく、エラーなく動作すること、またはすべての端末条件でアラームが発火することを保証しません。
iOS版: アラームの配信は、iOS の設定、バッテリー状態、端末構成を含むシステムレベルの制約に依存します。
Android版: アラームが実際に鳴るかどうかは端末側の設定に強く依存し、その一部は本アプリの制御が及びません。特に次の点にご注意ください:
- 電池の最適化とメーカー独自のバックグラウンド制限。OS または端末メーカーの省電力機能が本アプリのプロセスを終了させた場合、アラームは鳴りません。これは OS とメーカーの制御下にあり、アプリ側で回避できません。本アプリは初回設定で「電池の最適化から除外する」設定をご案内しますが、除外が可能かどうか、除外後の挙動がどうなるかはメーカー・機種により異なります。
- ユーザーが無効にできる権限。通知を無効にした場合や、フルスクリーン通知（他のアプリの上への表示）を無効にした場合、アラーム画面が表示されないことがあります。Android のバージョンによっては「アラームとリマインダー」（正確なアラーム）の権限も無効にでき、その場合はアラームが遅れる、または鳴らないことがあります。
- サイレントモード・音量・音声の出力先など端末側の設定により、アラーム音が聞こえないことがあります。
寝過ごしが重大な結果を招く場面では、本アプリだけを目覚ましとして頼らないでください。
責任の制限
法律で認められる最大限の範囲において、Endots LLC は、アラームの不発、寝過ごし、アプリ内に表示される健康情報への依存を含むがこれらに限定されない、本アプリの使用に起因または関連する間接的、偶発的、特別、または結果的損害について一切の責任を負いません。
規約の変更
本規約は更新されることがあります。変更後の本アプリの継続使用は、改訂された規約への同意を意味します。上記の「最終更新日」が最新版を示します。
準拠法
本規約は、法の抵触に関する規定にかかわらず、アメリカ合衆国デラウェア州の法律に準拠します。
